A commitment to sustainability

We know that in an image we are not able to guess the quality of a product, much less a fabric. That's why we want to explain to you how our Selfsimulacrum windbreaker is made because it really represents a true commitment to sustainability.

Firstly, we use the Plain Weave technique for its production. A weaving technique where each thread passes alternately over and under the other, creating a simple and strong grid structure. This regular pattern provides strength, durability and stability to the fabric.

Both the outer fabric and the mesh lining that covers the entire interior are made of 100% recycled 75 GSM polyester from used PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles.

So that we understand each other, the classic bottles that we find lying around every time we go to the beach, the sea, the countryside...

Between 38 and 80 550 ml plastic bottles are needed per jacket, so with this manufacturing model we help reduce the 9.5 million tons of plastic that flood our oceans annually. Additionally, the manufacturing process with recycled polyester saves significantly more energy.

The zippers and rivets are made with recycled nylon from industrial waste

And finally, our windbreaker is treated with a long-lasting, safe and environmentally friendly water repellent called Fluorine-Free DWR that acts as an invisible shield, defending you from the rain without compromising the environment.
